Digital Project Manager

Permanent - Leeds, London and Uppingham

We’re looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to join our team.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a varied range of digital web-based projects including marketing/ecommerce platforms and bespoke web applications for our great clients!

The role will see you support the internal management team and client product owners/managers in following MMT Digital’s Agile project management model. You’ll also have the chance to build trusted relationships with clients that are built on characteristics including good communication, quality of work, lean and effective solutions, expedient delivery and strong collaboration that leads to securing repeat work from those clients.
You’ll be responsible for accurate monthly forecasting, and for timely end of month billing & client invoicing.

You’ll manage the product budget, planning budget tracking and reporting monthly actuals whilst accurately tracking budget expenditure throughout a project. You’ll also be managing client expectations to ensure the client is aware of what they may reasonably expect to achieve with their budget and approach agreed at the outset of the project.

Working with our Resourcing team, you’ll manage the project resource, forecasting and resolving short term resource booking conflicts. You’ll also be responsible for monitoring and mitigating project risk, running project RAID meetings and project health check sessions.

As a Digital Project Manager, you’ll also naturally work with Client account leads to maximise opportunities as well as working to create new opportunities with existing clients.

What you’ll bring

In order to flourish in this role, you’ll need the following:

  • Strong project management skills and experience managing development projects

  • Account management experience

  • Experience of working in an Agile and Scrum environment

  • Tenacious self-starter, someone who brings ideas and processes into the business

  • Strong commercial acumen and budget management skills

  • Confidence to drive effective solutions internally and to clients

  • Good negotiation skills and a strong communicator

  • Ability to effectively manage a delivery team

  • Ability to manage resource requirements vs the project budget

It would also be great (but not essential) if you have:

  • A strong UX/creative background and good technical knowledge or experience
