As part of a business transformation, we are looking to source a Business Change Lead for a remote working position with ca 40% time on site in the clients Milton Keynes office. As a Business Change Lead you will be responsible for the UK supply chain forecasting, replenishment and fulfilment transformation. This role will drive process and systems relating to a recent implementation of the new AI forecasting and replenishment tool and target operating model. The role will work across all areas of supply chain, trading and operations teams.

What You'll Do

  • Reporting into UK Retail Trading Manager
  • Lead and engage with stakeholders to define/refine/deliver business to be processes
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders (internal/external) in order to influence and gain support for supply chain development initiatives
  • Lead process changes through value engineering workshops or other recognised models for defining improvement and gaining consensus
  • Work with the Product suppliers, supply chain and 3rd party logistics partners on the end-to-end delivery of the store replenishment, fully understanding current supply chains and how new systems will integrate with them
  • Work with the product owner and the demand planners to ensure that the business objectives are achieved and understood by technical project leads
  • Define and monitor project dependencies, milestones, timelines, budgets, risks and resources to ensure adherence to project requirements
  • Oversee delivery of the proof of concept into the limited number of the selected pilot stores, define and review KPI as well as define the path to the UK wide rollout of the market leading ML / AI replenishment and fulfilment platform
  • Communication of project success, risks and mitigations throughout the retail business at all levels
  • Work with European supply chain lead on delivery of Supply Chain dashboards providing valuable stock MI to supply chain and trading teams

What You'll Bring

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience, with deep hands on practical experience in retail and supply chain. You will have practical experience in the supply chain governance & assurance, able to demonstrate recent experience in the delivery of complex, multi-layered projects in retail and/or supply chains. You will be an excellent communicator with an ability to build relationships with peers as a trusted advisor. In this varied role, you will be able to consider and evaluate the bigger picture whilst understanding the criticality of the details of project delivery.

  • Typical Experience: 10+ years in Business Change Management/supply chain in the Retail environment
  • Ideally you will be operating in a retail or supply chain environment with experience SAP and/or BY as an ERP
  • Proven leadership of significant business change through process and systems within global businesses
  • Able to demonstrate value added through change in business processes and systems
  • Strong project management skills - gained through prior systems change experience
  • Strong knowledge of best practice and knows what good looks like
  • Fuel / Retail Industry experience desirable but not essential
  • Strong Supply Chain experience from store replenishment and fulfilment standpoint
  • Strong communicator and stakeholder Management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, work under time constraints, and work under pressure
  • Ability to influence and motivate across functions and reporting lines
